Albany City celebrates African Leaders with Afro beats

Honoring excellence within the community, the event recognized several awardees, including Robert Agyemang, AKindé Kodjo-Sanogo, Ramata Sakho, Balde Gassimou, Mory Kouyate, Fatoumata Camara, and Aïcha Cisse, Bharati Kemraj for their outstanding contributions.

Distinguished guests included Bronx Borough President Vanessa L. Gibson, Assemblymember Charles Fall, and numerous other community leaders, all committed to the night’s mission. The overarching theme of the gathering was “BE BOLD,” with a focus on building the next generation of African leaders.
