“Antisemitism has no place in our city” — Mayor Adams 

In a powerful statement reflecting his commitment to fostering an inclusive environment, New York City Mayor Eric Adams addressed the issue of antisemitism on the city’s college campuses.

Speaking out during a recent event, Adams declared, “Antisemitism has no place in our city and especially not on our The City University of New York campuses.”

Joined by prominent figures including Rep. Ritchie Torres and Council Member Eric Dinowitz, as well as representatives from the CUNY Alliance for Inclusion, Adams engaged in discussions aimed at promoting respect and diversity within the university system.

He emphasized the importance of creating a safe and supportive educational atmosphere, asserting, “I was proud to be joined by Rep. Ritchie Torres, Council Member Eric Dinowitz, and the CUNY Alliance for Inclusion to discuss ways to create respectful, diverse colleges.”

This initiative highlights the city’s proactive stance against discrimination and its dedication to ensuring that all students can thrive in an environment free from hate and prejudice.
