Bronx BP Gibson strengthens senior care collaboration with key stakeholders

In a significant step toward enhancing senior care in The Bronx, Bronx Borough President Vanessa L. Gibson, in partnership with The John A. Hartford Foundation, hosted a Nursing Home Meet & Greet aimed at fostering collaboration among senior care stakeholders.

The event, held yesterday, highlighted the commitment to improving the quality of care for older adults across the borough.

BP Gibson emphasized the importance of this initiative, stating: “Together, we’re building partnerships to improve the care of older adults across the borough.”

The John A. Hartford Foundation’s grant will play a pivotal role in the development of an Age-Friendly Roundtable, a platform dedicated to sharing insights, resources, and best practices to enhance elderly care services.

Expressing gratitude, Gibson acknowledged the foundation’s support: “A very special thank you to The John A. Hartford Foundation for their grant, which will help us take steps toward creating an Age-Friendly Roundtable.”

The initiative aims to make The Bronx a leader in Age-Friendly care, as Gibson concluded: “Let’s continue working together to make The Bronx a model for Age-Friendly care!”

This collaboration marks a crucial step in ensuring that seniors in The Bronx receive the support and attention they deserve, promoting a community where older adults can thrive.
