Clergy, Faith Leaders to Endorse Mayor Eric Adams at NYC City Hall

A broad coalition of clergy and religious leaders from across New York City will gather on the steps of City Hall in the Financial District on Tuesday, August 5, at 9:30 AM to formally announce their collective endorsement of Mayor Eric Adams’ reelection campaign.

The endorsement event, billed as a significant show of support, brings together religious figures from various denominations and communities who collectively represent hundreds of thousands of the city’s voters.

In a statement inviting the public and media to attend, organizers described the event as “a historic occasion and one of the most powerful constituents’ job-approvals of an incumbent candidate.”

Mayor Adams, who is seeking a second term, has cultivated strong relationships with many faith-based organizations during his time in office.

The upcoming endorsement is expected to underscore his influence and popularity among religious communities in the city.
