Corruption clouds Mayor Adams administration, key aide Pearson resigns amid federal probe

Tim Pearson, a shadowy confidante and top aide to Mayor Eric Adams, announced his resignation on Monday as the federal corruption investigation intensifies.

This development follows a series of dramatic federal raids on September 4, which saw the seizure of devices belonging to multiple high-ranking officials and allies within the Adams administration.

Sources reveal that Pearson, who has been overseeing security deals for migrant shelters, is currently under scrutiny for allegedly meddling in contractor selections in exchange for kickbacks.

This has raised serious concerns about the integrity of the city’s contracting processes.

Federal investigators have also been questioning members of the city’s obscure Municipal Services Assessment unit, which Pearson oversees, about their involvement in city contracting matters.

As the investigation unfolds, the implications for the Adams administration grow increasingly concerning.
