Council Member Ung Honors Chinatown Ice Cream Factory Owner at UA3’s 10th Anniversary Gala

Council Member Sandra Ung joined community leaders and supporters in celebrating the 10th anniversary of UA3, a nonprofit dedicated to uplifting underserved communities, during a gala event.

The highlight of the evening was Ung’s recognition of Christina Seid, owner of the beloved Chinatown Ice Cream Factory, for her contributions to the community.

“I was honored to present an award to my good friend and owner of Chinatown Ice Cream Factory, Christina Seid, during a gala celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the nonprofit organization UA3,” Ung stated. “Christina isn’t just an entrepreneur, but a true community leader.”

UA3, under the leadership of President Don Hong, has been a driving force for social good, providing vital resources and support to those in need. Ung praised the organization for its impact, adding, “UA3 has been a force for good, making lasting improvements in the lives of so many, and I was grateful for the opportunity to join them to celebrate the people who make that mission possible.”

As UA3 marked a decade of service, the gala served as a testament to the dedication of individuals like Seid and the organization’s leadership. “Congrats to President Don Hong and UA3 on reaching this milestone,” Ung concluded.

The event brought together business owners, activists, and officials to honor those who have played a pivotal role in strengthening the community.
