Gunfire erupts in Bronx, one man hospitalized as NYPD launches investigation

The NYPD is actively investigating a shooting incident that occurred in Williamsbridge, Bronx, leaving one man hospitalized.

The alarming event unfolded shortly after 3:30 p.m. near the intersection of East 226th Street and Paulding Avenue.

A 34-year-old man was shot once in the neck and was promptly transported to a local hospital, where he is reported to be in stable condition.
