Homan advocates $86b plan for mass deportation, touts long-term savings for taxpayers

In a bold statement on Fox Business, former acting Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Director Tom Homan revealed that the White House would seek $86 billion in funding from Congress to kick-start the Trump administration’s ambitious mass deportation plan. The proposal, which Homan described as “expensive,” is being touted as a measure that will ultimately save taxpayers money.

“This is the biggest national security vulnerability this country has,” Homan emphasized, underscoring the urgency of the proposed funding. He outlined plans to expand the current capacity for detention beds to 100,000, a significant increase from the current availability of several tens of thousands.

Homan explained that the requested funds would also cover deportation flights, additional transportation to remove undocumented migrants from the United States, and necessary medical care throughout the process.

He assured viewers that the plan’s long-term benefits would outweigh its hefty initial cost, positioning it as an essential investment in national security and economic stability.

The proposed measures come as the Trump administration prepares to take a hardline approach to immigration enforcement, reflecting its commitment to securing the nation’s borders and addressing illegal immigration comprehensively.
