Masked intruders strike, Manhattan resident robbed of 14 watches worth $10,000 in nighttime heist

In a daring late-night burglary, three masked assailants targeted a Manhattan resident, stealing 14 luxury watches valued at $10,000 from his apartment on Second Avenue near East 106th Street.

The shocking incident unfolded around 2:25 a.m. on Monday as the 41-year-old victim lay asleep in his third-story apartment. The suspects climbed up the fire escape, sneaking in through an open window. Once inside, they brandished a firearm and demanded money and marijuana.

After issuing their demands, the trio rifled through the victim’s closets, seizing 14 watches, including models from Hugo Boss, Casio, and TAG Heuer. They made their escape through the front door.

The suspects, described as wearing black hoodies and masks, remain at large as of Monday evening.

The brazen robbery underscores ongoing concerns about safety in the city, leaving residents uneasy. Authorities have urged anyone with information to come forward as the investigation continues.
