NYC Health + Hospitals hosts conference for national healthcare quality week

NYC Health + Hospitals’ Office of Quality and Safety has hosted an engaging in-person conference in honor of #NationalHealthcareQualityWeek.

The event featured a keynote address by the esteemed Dr. Kedar Mate, President and CEO of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, who shared insights on enhancing healthcare quality and safety.

The Office of Quality and Safety plays a crucial role in the healthcare system by overseeing quality assurance, performance improvement, accreditation, patient safety, and quality measures.

Their mission is to ensure that healthcare facilities provide the highest standards of care to patients.

In addition to the keynote presentation, the conference also recognized outstanding contributions to healthcare quality.

“Congratulations to this year’s award winners for quality improvement projects!” the Office of Quality and Safety announced, highlighting the efforts of those dedicated to making meaningful advancements in patient care.
