
Officers from the NYPD Special Operations Emergency Service Unit (ESU) sprang into action to save a man threatening to jump from a 20th-floor window.
Responding swiftly to reports of the precarious situation, the officers demonstrated remarkable skill and compassion as they worked alongside the NYPD Mobile Crisis Team (MCT) to prevent a potential tragedy.

Upon arriving at the scene, the ESU officers quickly located the individual, who was perilously perched on the windowsill, barely able to hold on. With time of the essence, the officers initiated a dialogue, carefully establishing communication with the distressed man in an effort to understand his situation and alleviate his immediate fears.
