One person dead, another one injured in stabbing incident in Upper East Side

In a shocking incident that unfolded on Sunday afternoon, a man was found dead and another left with serious injuries following a violent stabbing on the Upper East Side.

The altercation, which erupted from a heated argument, turned deadly, prompting a swift response from law enforcement.

At approximately 1:30 p.m., police received a call reporting an assault at 232 East 95th Street. Upon arrival, officers were met with a gruesome scene, discovering the body of an unidentified man who had suffered severe trauma to the chest and neck. Tragically, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The second victim, a 27-year-old man, remained at the site with multiple lacerations across his body. Emergency services quickly transported him to New York Cornell Medical Hospital, where he was reported to be in serious but stable condition.

Authorities recovered two knives from the scene, indicating the violent nature of the confrontation. As of now, no arrests have been made, and the investigation into this tragic event is ongoing.

Police continue to gather evidence and seek information from witnesses as they work to unravel the circumstances that led to this heartbreaking incident.
