Winter Wonderland brings joy to families as EmblemHealth Center distributes food, toys

EmblemHealth Neighborhood Care Center on Kissena Boulevard spread holiday cheer during its annual Winter Wonderland event last week, blending fun and generosity for the local community.

The event featured activities for children while also addressing essential needs, as 225 bags of food and 130 toys were distributed to families.

Council Member Sandra Ung expressed her gratitude for being part of the heartwarming initiative, emphasizing the impact on families in the area.

“Thanks for inviting my office to take part in making the holidays a little brighter for so many families in our community!” she said.

The Winter Wonderland event has become a beloved tradition in the neighborhood, showcasing EmblemHealth commitment to fostering a sense of togetherness while supporting families in need. Residents praised the organization and local officials for their efforts in ensuring everyone could experience the joy of the season.
