Bronx kicks off “Savor the Bronx” Restaurant Week to celebrate culinary diversity

The Bronx is set to come alive with vibrant flavors as Savor the Bronx Restaurant Week officially kicks off, offering food lovers an opportunity to explore the borough’s rich and diverse culinary scene.

At the launch event held at SUYO Gastrofusion, Bronx Borough President Vanessa Gibson joined the Bronx Economic Development Corporation, the Bronx Tourism Council, food enthusiasts, and sponsors to announce the start of the much-anticipated Savor the Bronx celebration.

Running from February 18 to February 23, 2025, the event aims to spotlight the incredible variety of local eateries and the small businesses that fuel the borough’s economy.

“From Puerto Rican to Italian, Caribbean to Mexican, and so much more, Savor the Bronx is an opportunity to uplift our local restaurants, strengthen our economy, and showcase the flavors that bring our community together,” Borough President Gibson stated.

She emphasized the vital role that small businesses play in the Bronx, describing them as the “backbone of the borough” and stressing the importance of supporting them to ensure economic growth and sustainability.

Expressing her excitement for the upcoming week of culinary experiences, Gibson extended her gratitude to SUYO Gastrofusion for hosting the kickoff event and to all the participating restaurants.

“Thank you to SUYO Gastrofusion for hosting today’s kickoff and to all our participating restaurants. I look forward to seeing you all next week as we dine, celebrate, and Savor the Bronx!” she said.

With a lineup of restaurants offering special menus, discounts, and unique dining experiences, food lovers across the city are encouraged to participate in the celebration. Savor the Bronx Restaurant Week promises to be a culinary journey, highlighting the borough’s status as a premier food destination in New York City.
