Bronx: Vanessa Gibson kicks off holiday season with 200 talented students

The holiday spirit came alive in the Bronx as Bronx Borough President Vanessa L. Gibson kicked off the festive season with over 200 talented students from Family Life Academy Charter School II at the school’s first-ever Winter Holiday Concert.

Reflecting on the joyful occasion, BP Gibson shared her excitement, stating:
“What a delight it was to kick off the holiday season with over 200 talented students from Family Life Academy Charter School II at our inaugural Winter Holiday Concert!”

The event was made possible thanks to the collaborative effort of Principal Valerie Marchionno, Assistant Principal Maria Alberto, Music Director Nicholas Diaz, and more than 300 parents, relatives, and caretakers who gathered to celebrate the season. Their collective support and enthusiasm helped create an atmosphere of warmth and joy.

BP Gibson expressed her gratitude, saying: “Your support and enthusiasm truly brought the spirit of the season to life!”

The event highlighted the talent and dedication of the students while fostering a sense of community and holiday cheer. As the season unfolds, Gibson and her team at Borough Hall extended warm wishes to all: “From the entire BXBP staff and everyone at Borough Hall, we wish everyone a safe and blessed holiday season!”

The inaugural Winter Holiday Concert set the stage for a season filled with unity, joy, and celebration in the Bronx.
