Bronx welcomes holiday season

The Bronx officially welcomed the holiday season with an evening full of joy, warmth, and community spirit during the Annual Tree Lighting Winter Wonderland Extravaganza and Toy Giveaway.

Bronx Borough President Vanessa Gibson, in collaboration with Televisa Univision and the Transport Workers Union (TWU), hosted the festive event that brought smiles to countless families.

Reflecting on the occasion, President Gibson shared, “Last night, we kicked off the holiday season with our Annual Tree Lighting Winter Wonderland Extravaganza and Toy Giveaway, in partnership with Televisa Univision and TWU! 🎄✨ A heartfelt thank you to our amazing partners for helping us bring holiday cheer and smiles to families across the Bronx. Here’s to a season of joy, giving, and togetherness!”

The event, held in a spirit of unity and generosity, featured the lighting of a dazzling Christmas tree, winter-themed activities, and a toy giveaway, ensuring children in the Bronx experienced the magic of the season.

The collaboration between community leaders and organizations highlights a shared commitment to spreading holiday cheer and fostering a sense of togetherness in the borough.
