Councilwoman Vickie Paladino sounds alarm over progressive influence in NYC politics

Councilwoman Vickie Paladino issued a stark warning to New Yorkers regarding the potential ramifications of progressive policies gaining traction in the city.

“Be careful what you wish for, and pay very close attention to who’s celebrating loudest right now,” she cautioned.

Paladino emphasized that the loudest voices in celebration are not necessarily those with the city’s best interests at heart.

She hinted at a forthcoming detailed statement regarding the situation involving Mayor Adams, indicating that the issue at hand is significant.

“It’s not people with the best interests of the city at heart,” she continued, expressing her concerns about the progressive faction within the city.

“I’ll have a full statement on the Adams situation soon, but the progressives who are salivating right now pose an existential threat to New Yorkers,and cannot be allowed to take power.”

Paladino’s remarks reflect a growing tension in the city’s political landscape, as debates over the direction of policy and governance heat up.
