Holiday cheer shines bright in Castle Hill as Council member Farias joins santa to delight kids

Castle Hill was filled with holiday magic as Santa made a special stop at the Castle Hill Little League annual tree lighting event.

New York City Council Member Amanda Farias brought the festive spirit to life, ensuring that every child received a gift and knew they were “on the good list.”

“Did you know every kid in #CD18 is on the good list? Well, now you do because Santa just came to Castle Hill Little League!” Farias wrote, capturing the excitement of the night.

The community came together for the joyous occasion, with volunteers, parents, and sponsors working tirelessly to create an unforgettable experience for the children.

Farias expressed heartfelt gratitude, saying, “So grateful for our entire Castle Hill Little League team, volunteers and parents who every year put a spectacular event together for our young people in the community.”

Council Member Rafael Salamanca, the NYPD, the Chippewa Democratic Club, National Diner, and other local sponsors contributed to the event’s success. Their support made sure that the holiday season started with joy, gifts, and community togetherness.
