Tragic death of malnourished 4-year-old with burns shakes Harlem community

A malnourished 4-year-old boy with burns on his chest was pronounced dead on Sunday evening in Harlem community.

The tragedy unfolded when police received a 911 call reporting an unconscious child at a residence on Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard around 7:45 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers discovered the young boy in distress and promptly transported him to Harlem Hospital. Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival, leaving a community grappling with the heartbreaking loss of an innocent life.
