“No matter the outcome, our administration is prepared to work with a new president to defend our city’s values” — Mayor Adams

In the wake of ongoing ballot counting across the nation, New York City Mayor Eric Adams took a moment to reflect on the city’s electoral engagement.

He stated, “While ballots are still being counted across the nation, we can already celebrate New York City’s high voter turnout and safe, secure, and well-organized election.”

As the city awaits a final electoral outcome, Mayor Adams urged residents to maintain their composure during this critical time. “I urge New Yorkers to remain calm and let the process play out,” he emphasized.
