Mayor Adams commemorates 23rd anniversary of Flight 587 tragedy

New York City Mayor, Eric Adams, has commemorated the 23rd anniversary of the tragic crash of American Airlines Flight 587, which occurred in the Rockaways, claiming the lives of 265 individuals.

Reflecting on the profound loss, Mayor Adams expressed his heartfelt condolences and unwavering support for the families affected by the disaster.

“Today, we remember the 265 souls who lost their lives when American Airlines Flight 587 tragically crashed in the Rockaways,” Mayor Adams stated.
