Bronx BP Vanessa Gibson joins Prematurity Awareness Town Hall to address health challenges

Bronx Borough President Vanessa Gibson expressed her gratitude for being part of the impactful Prematurity Awareness Town Hall, a collaborative event spearheaded by Alma Idahen, in partnership with the Bronx Healthy Start and Bronx FIMR teams.

“Grateful to be part of such an impactful and meaningful Prematurity Awareness Town Hall put together by Alma Idahen with Bronx Healthy Start Partnership and Bronx FIMR team members,” Gibson shared in her statement.

The town hall brought together key health representatives from institutions including Montefiore Einstein, NYC H+H Jacobi, North Central Bronx, Lincoln, St. Barnabas Health System, BronxCare Health System, among many others.

Together, they discussed the significant challenges of prematurity and its far-reaching impact on families and the wider community.

“Thank you to everyone who participated and for your commitment to supporting families and improving health outcomes in our community,” Gibson concluded.
