Stephen Catullo Retires as CEO of NYC Health + Hospitals/Coler After Decades of Distinguished Service

NYC Health + Hospitals has bidden a fond farewell to one of its most dedicated leaders, Stephen Catullo, who concluded his tenure yesterday as CEO of NYC Health + Hospitals/Coler.

The occasion marked the end of an extraordinary chapter in public health service, one defined by compassion, excellence, and visionary leadership.

With nearly three decades of experience in healthcare delivery and administration, Mr. Catullo has been a pillar in the NYC Health + Hospitals system, serving in various leadership roles within its skilled-nursing facility network since 1997. Throughout his career, he remained steadfast in his mission to improve healthcare outcomes and ensure equity for all New Yorkers, regardless of their background.

“As we say goodbye, we also celebrate the passion, integrity, and tireless dedication Stephen brought to every project and every colleague he supported,” the organization shared in a heartfelt statement recognizing his contributions.
