Over 700 national security officials endorse Kamala Harris, reject Trump’s authoritarianism

In a significant political development today, more than 700 high-ranking national security officials have thrown their support behind Vice President Kamala Harris in her bid for the presidency, expressing deep concerns over former President Donald Trump’s “scary authoritarian streak.”

The impressive coalition, which includes 233 general and flag officers, made their stance clear through a powerful letter endorsing Harris as the candidate best suited to lead the nation.

The letter, signed by a total of 741 officials—including 15 four-star generals—highlights the pressing need for a serious and capable Commander-in-Chief.

The signatories collectively emphasized Harris’s diplomatic approach, asserting that she is the more realistic choice for the future of America.

This endorsement follows a similar declaration of support from over 100 former GOP national security figures, signaling a growing consensus among national security experts about the need for a leadership shift in the upcoming election.

The stakes are high, and these officials are calling for a leader who can navigate the complexities of national security with both strength and diplomacy.
