Bronx BP Gibson Hosts Reso-A Funding Session for Schools, Community Institutions

Bronx Borough President Vanessa Gibson has thanked residents, educators, and community leaders who attended an informational session on Reso-A capital funding held at Bronx Borough Hall on Wednesday. The session provided guidance on how schools and organizations can apply for city capital funding to support critical facility upgrades and improvement projects across the borough.

According to Gibson, attendees received detailed information on the application process and the types of projects eligible for Reso-A support, including enhancements to computer labs, athletic fields, libraries, auditoriums, gymnasiums, and supplemental cooling systems, among other infrastructure needs.

The event was moderated by Principal Luis Torres, whom Gibson credited for helping make the session both engaging and informative.

Gibson expressed appreciation to participants who contributed questions and shared concerns during the discussion, emphasizing the importance of community involvement in shaping investment priorities for Bronx institutions. She added that additional resources and future opportunities for funding engagement will be announced in the coming months.
