Council Member Farias joins Birch Family Services to participate in Read for the Record initiative

In a heartwarming display of community support, Council Member Amanda Farias participated in the Read for the Record initiative, hosted by Birch Family Services at the Soundview Early Education Center.

“I was delighted to join Birch Family Services at the Soundview Early Education Center for their Read for the Record initiative,” Farias expressed, highlighting the importance of engaging with local education programs.

During the event, she had the joy of reading Piper Chen Sings to the eager children, who responded with enthusiasm and creativity.

Farias concluded with a sentiment that resonates with many in the community: “These are the moments that make me proud of supporting and partnering with community partners to ensure quality education and childcare for families in #CD18.”
