Council member Ung applauds PS 214 for strengthening community ties through resource fair

In an effort to connect parents with vital services, PS 214 held a Community Resource Fair ahead of its annual Winter Concert, an initiative praised by Council Member Sandra Ung.

Highlighting the role of schools in supporting families, Ung remarked, “Schools are more than just places where our children learn, they are also crucial connections for parents to resources and services.”

She extended her appreciation to the organizers, saying, “Thanks to Principal Chobot, Assistant Principal Mora, and school social worker Ms. Kazalas for organizing the Community Resource Fair at PS 214 prior to the school’s annual Winter Concert.”

The event underscored PS 214’s commitment to strengthening community ties and ensuring families have the support they need beyond the classroom.
