“Normal people reject absurdity” — Council Member Paladino calls for justice in Jordan neely incident

Council Member Vickie Paladino addressed the recent Jordan Neely incident, emphasizing that it was far from a mere disturbance on the subway.

“It’s becoming more and more clear that the Jordan Neely incident was not a simple case of a loud guy on the subway just making people uncomfortable,” she asserted, highlighting the serious implications of the event.

Paladino continued, expressing concern for the safety of subway passengers.

“Passengers were clearly in immediate fear for their lives due to his violent ravings,” she stated. This sentiment raises critical questions about the balance between public safety and individual rights.

“Must we live at the mercy of the criminally insane, staking our lives on the mere hope that a clearly deranged man chooses not to follow through on his violent threats?” she asked, critiquing the current societal dynamics.

The council member accused progressives of attempting to redefine societal safety standards.

“That seems to be the new social compact progressives want us to live with,” she remarked, drawing a line between her views and those of her political opponents.

In a rallying cry for justice, Paladino reinforced her stance on self-defense. “Normal people, however, reject their absurdity and recognize our right to self defense in the face of imminent threats to human life,” she declared. Her strong words culminated in a demand for immediate action: “Daniel Penny must be freed immediately with all charges dropped. Enough.”
