Bronx Muslim Festival 2024 to hold in December

The Muslim Cultural Center has officially announced the date for its much-anticipated annual event, the Bronx Muslim Festival 2024.

This year’s festival is set to take place on Sunday, December 22, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and will honor the dedication of New York City’s Muslim public servants who have navigated one of the most challenging public affairs environments this year.

The festival is dedicated to showcasing the rich diversity of the Muslim community, celebrating their vibrant contemporary traditions, cultures, and contributions to society.

The Bronx Muslim Festival promises a day filled with exhibitions, entertainment, education, and communal fellowship. It aims to dispel myths about Islam and counter the negative narratives of extremism, intolerance, and hatred that have emerged in recent times.

According to the organizers, the festival will highlight the immense contributions Muslims have made to global civilization in various fields, including arts, intellect, culinary traditions, and peacebuilding.

“A wide array of participants is expected, including Muslim entrepreneurs, artists, intellectuals, professionals, diplomats, journalists, political leaders, educators, students, religious leaders, media representatives, and celebrities,” said the organizers.

Festival highlights will include a Halal Market Expo, showcasing a variety of food options, trendy Muslim fashion for both men and women, and the promotion of Halalan Tayyiban diets, emphasizing healthy and permissible eating practices.

Furthermore, government agencies, elected officials, local businesses, and nonprofits from across the city are invited to participate as resources for festival attendees, fostering community engagement and connection.

Vendors interested in showcasing their products and services at the festival are encouraged to register early, as space will be allocated on a first-come, first-admitted basis.

Vendors will be responsible for bringing their own tables, chairs, canopies, and any additional items they may need for their booths.
