“Enough is enough”: New Yorkers demand tougher measures against violent migrants, mask-wearing in public

In a bold and urgent appeal, advocacy group New Yorkers For Public Safety has called for immediate action to address rising concerns over public safety in the city. The group is demanding the removal of violent criminal migrants from New York and a ban on wearing face masks in public spaces.

“Enough is enough,” the group declared in a statement. “New York City, a city of immigrants, must not be a sanctuary refuge for terrorists, gangsters, violent criminals, and bigots.”

The advocacy group has thrown its full support behind Mayor Eric Adams, who has been vocal about implementing stricter public safety measures. The group urged elected officials from both parties to rally behind the mayor’s vision for a safer city.

“New Yorkers For Public Safety strongly support Mayor Eric Adams’s public safety stance and are encouraging elected officials from both political parties to support his position on making the Big Apple a safe and secure city for its residents and visitors,” the group emphasized.

To amplify their demands, the group announced plans to hold a press conference where they will urge elected officials to enforce the city’s law-and-order policies rigorously and repeal what they describe as “soft on crime” measures.

This latest call to action comes as debates over public safety, immigration, and law enforcement policies continue to polarize the city. Many residents and advocacy groups are expressing frustration over what they perceive as leniency toward criminal elements, particularly in areas grappling with rising crime rates.

The upcoming press conference is expected to draw significant attention, as the group’s demands touch on deeply contentious issues about the balance between public safety and individual freedoms in New York City.
