As part of this initiative, Gibson revealed that $500,000 has been allocated for security cameras at Eagle Academy for Young Men, reinforcing efforts to ensure the safety of students and staff.

Additionally, $250,000 will go towards the development of a cutting-edge STEM lab at Bronx Career and College Preparatory High School, aiming to equip students with the technological skills necessary for the future.

“With these allocations, we are ensuring our students, educators, and school staff continue to strive and thrive in ‘25!” Gibson declared, highlighting her vision for sustained academic and personal growth within the Bronx community.

This investment aligns with ongoing efforts to improve education infrastructure across the borough, providing students with not only safer school environments but also access to innovative resources that prepare them for higher education and careers in STEM fields.
