Flushing Welcomes One of NYC Best: BirrialandiaNYC Debuts in Tangram with Rave Reviews

Flushing is once again in the culinary spotlight as it welcomes another restaurant recognized by The New York Times in its prestigious “Best 100 Restaurants” list.

Council Member Sandra Ung announced the exciting development following the grand opening of BirrialandiaNYC’s first brick-and-mortar location at Tangram.

“Flushing has another one of the New York Times’ ‘Best 100 Restaurants’ in the neighborhood, after birrialandianyc opened its first brick-and-mortar location in Tangram yesterday,” Ung wrote.

Known for its rich Asian food scene, Flushing is now expanding its flavor palette with a taste of authentic Mexican cuisine.

BirrialandiaNYC, famed for its Jalisco-style birria tacos, has been a sensation among food lovers across the city. With the opening of this new location, it promises to become a staple in one of Queens’ most diverse food districts.

“Everyone knows Flushing has the city’s best Asian food, now we have one of its best spots for authentic Mexican food, too!” Ung added.

She also encouraged residents to show support for the new local business: “Stop by and welcome owners and brothers Jose and Jesus Moreno to Flushing.”

The arrival of BirrialandiaNYC not only enriches Flushing’s vibrant food culture but also underscores the neighborhood’s growing appeal as a destination for top-tier cuisine from around the world.
