Bronx Borough President Gibson spreads holiday cheer with annual tree lighting, toy giveaway

The Bronx sparkled with holiday spirit last night as Borough President Vanessa Gibson hosted the much-anticipated Annual Tree Lighting Winter Wonderland Extravaganza and Toy Giveaway.

The event, held in collaboration with Televisa Univision and the Transport Workers Union (TWU), brought joy and warmth to families across the borough.

Reflecting on the festive celebration, BP Gibson shared her gratitude and excitement, “Last night, we kicked off the holiday season with our Annual Tree Lighting Winter Wonderland Extravaganza and Toy Giveaway, in partnership with Televisa Univision and TWU! A heartfelt thank you to our amazing partners for helping us bring holiday cheer and smiles to families across the Bronx. Here’s to a season of joy, giving, and togetherness!”
