Bronx Community College to receive $2m for Ohio track, field renovation

Bronx Borough President Vanessa Gibson has announced a significant financial boost for the Ohio Track and Field at Bronx Community College.

In a joint effort with Council Member Pierina Sanchez, the borough proudly revealed a $2 million allocation dedicated to renovating the facility.

“Yesterday, we proudly announced a $2 million joint allocation, in partnership with Council Member Pierina Sanchez, to renovate the Ohio Track and Field at Bronx Community College!” Gibson stated, highlighting the collaborative effort aimed at enhancing sports facilities for the community.

This investment is expected to not only improve the physical infrastructure of the track and field but also promote greater participation in athletics among students and residents alike.

The renovation project reflects a commitment to fostering a vibrant athletic culture within the Bronx, ensuring that local athletes have access to quality training and competition venues.
