Former Gov Paterson, stepson attacked, teens charged with gang assault

In a shocking incident on the Upper East Side, two boys, ages just 12 and 13, have been charged with gang assault following an attack on former New York Governor David Paterson and his stepson.

The confrontation took place near Paterson’s apartment, sending waves of concern through the local community.

The boys, whose names have not been released due to their age, surrendered to the police on Saturday night, accompanied by their parents.
