Mayor Adams celebrates Bishop Eric Garnes’ four-decade legacy in faith

Mayor Eric Adams joined a gathering of New Yorkers last night to celebrates the remarkable legacy of Bishop Eric Garnes, a revered spiritual leader whose work has profoundly impacted the city for over four decades. Known for his dedication to both his congregation and the broader community, Bishop Garnes has guided countless individuals on a path toward spiritual enlightenment, bringing his wisdom and compassion beyond the walls of the church.

“For more than 40 years, Bishop Eric Garnes has brought countless New Yorkers closer to spiritual enlightenment in and outside of the church,” wrote Mayor Adams in a heartfelt message recognizing Bishop Garnes’ contributions.
