NY Community Organizer, Activist, Sheikh Drammeh, Rallies Support for Mayor Adams’ Reelection

As the race for New York City’s mayoral election heats up, a community organizer and activist, Sheikh Musa Drammeh, is calling on New Yorkers to throw their weight behind incumbent Mayor Eric Adams, urging New Yorkers to support his reelection bid.

Sheikh Musa Drammeh is a well-known community leader who dismissed criticisms against Adams and praised his leadership.

“In this election, no mayoral candidate can run on any constituent issue that the incumbent hasn’t broken record of it,” Drammeh stated emphatically. “He has overperformed expectations despite the bogus criminal indictments against him, which will be dropped. Mayor Eric Adams’s public service record can never, ever be buried under the carpet by his enemies.”

Drammeh’s endorsement comes at a time when Adams faces scrutiny over various issues, including crime, housing, and economic recovery. However, supporters argue that under his administration, New York City has seen notable progress.

“He is as innocent today as he was two years ago,” Drammeh continued. “Therefore, New Yorkers won’t replace him with any of the candidates running for mayor. Ain’t happening! The Big Apple is a thousand times better off now than when Mayor Adams took office.”

Adams, a former NYPD officer and Brooklyn Borough President, has focused on public safety, economic development, and affordable housing. While critics point to ongoing challenges, his backers insist that his policies are yielding positive results.

With the election approaching, the mayoral race is shaping up to be a fierce battle. However, voices like Drammeh’s suggest that Adams still commands significant grassroots support, particularly among community leaders who believe his leadership has been transformative for the city.
