In a proactive effort to enhance road safety in their community, the NYPD 73rd Precinct has joined forces with Lee Eastmond from the New York City Department of Transportation (DOT) to address critical traffic safety issues.
The collaborative initiative took place at the busy intersection of Atlantic Avenue and Eastern Parkway, where officers engaged with local residents and passersby.
“Our Traffic Safety Team and Patrol Sector Adam teamed up with Lee Eastmond from @NYC_DOT at Atlantic Avenue and Eastern Parkway,” the precinct announced through their social media channels. The event focused on sharing “essential tips on vehicle and bicycle safety,” underscoring the importance of knowledge in preventing accidents.
