Parkchester residents rally for transparency, improved living conditions

In a call to action that resonates with the heart of the Parkchester community, the Parkchester Watch Group is urging residents to unite at their upcoming event to demand greater transparency and communication from the management, board, and sponsor.

The group is advocating for the replacement of residential doors by the sponsor, emphasizing that this should be done at no cost to the residents.

“The management, board, and sponsor need to hear our voices,” said a spokesperson for the Parkchester Watch Group.

“If they are planning to build two new high-rise buildings on E. Tremont Ave and own approximately 6,000 rentals here, they can afford to replace our doors at no cost to us.”

The group is encouraging residents to bring signs highlighting their quality of life issues, asserting that many of the problems they face are due to the perceived indifference of the board, sponsor, and management to their concerns and living conditions.

“We need you to join us and invite anyone you know who lives in Parkchester,” the group urged, as they aim to amplify their voices and address the pressing issues affecting their community.
