Bronx subway shooting leaves teen injured, suspect arrested

In a shocking incident that unfolded late Tuesday night, a 15-year-old boy was left injured after being shot in the leg at approximately 10 p.m. in the mezzanine level of the subway station located at River Avenue and West 167th Street in The Bronx.

Authorities quickly responded to the scene, where they apprehended 20-year-old David Ayenengoye.

Ayenengoye now faces serious charges, including attempted murder, criminal possession of a weapon, and criminal use of a firearm.
