Man stabbed to death on Upper West Side, police hunt for group fleeing in U-Haul

A violent incident on Manhattan’s Upper West Side has left a 46-year-old Man dead, with police now searching for several suspects spotted fleeing the scene.

Responding to a 911 call at 10:20 a.m., officers arrived at an apartment building on W. 96th St., near Columbus Ave., where they found the man suffering from two stab wounds in his upper body.

According to a report, medics quickly transported the victim to St. Luke’s Hospital, but despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead at 11:14 a.m. The NYPD has since launched a manhunt for four to five men who were seen fleeing the scene in a U-Haul vehicle.

Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward as they intensify efforts to locate the suspects. No further details about the suspects or the motive behind the attack have been released as the investigation remains ongoing.
