Bronx DA’s Office to Host Final Gun Buyback of the Year, BP Gibson Says

Bronx Borough President Vanessa Gibson has announced that the Bronx District Attorney’s Office will host its final gun buyback programme of the year on Saturday, December 13, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, located at 777 East 222nd Street in the Bronx, New York.

According to Gibson, the initiative will allow community members to voluntarily turn in firearms with no questions asked, as part of ongoing efforts to reduce gun violence and promote public safety across the borough.

“This is an important opportunity to get illegal guns off our streets and help keep our neighborhoods safe,” the Bronx Borough President said, urging residents to take advantage of the programme.

Gibson also called on the public to help spread the word, encouraging residents to share the information with friends, family, and neighbors in order to maximize participation and strengthen community-wide efforts to curb gun-related crimes.
