Muslim World League Condemns Israeli Incursion into Al-Aqsa Mosque

The Muslim World League (MWL) has issued a strong condemnation of a recent incident in which hundreds of Israeli settlers, escorted by officials and protected by security forces, stormed the courtyards of the Blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

In a statement released by the General Secretariat, the MWL described the action as part of the “ongoing practices of the occupation authorities that violate Islamic sanctities and provoke the sentiments of Muslims around the world.”

His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, denounced the incursion, calling it a “grave violation of the sanctity of Islamic holy sites.”

He further warned that the “continued and repeated transgressions by the Israeli occupation authorities” carry serious consequences for peace and stability in the region.
