Ugandan police shoot opposition leader Wine

Ugandan opposition Leader, Bobi Wine has been reportedly shot by police.

This was disclosed in a statement via his Facebook page on Tuesday September 3, 2023.

According to the statement, Wine was attacked by the police and military under the command of one Twesigye on his return from Bulindo in Kira.

“During the course of the attack, he was shot in the leg,” the statement said

The attack has generated lots of reactions from concerned citizens.

Chosen Media reacted, “They are telling people to be vigilant about terrorists, but they commit the same crimes against the people they pretend to protect ”

Letrok also reacted, “Quick recovery, president.”
