New York Public Advocate highlights responsibility at Next Gen Tech conference

In a pivotal moment for technology, the Office of the New York Public Advocate emphasized the critical need for responsible tech usage during the recent #SiliconHarlem’s Next Gen Tech Conference.

Public Advocate Jumaane Williams joined forces with JC Brillant, the Director of Technology, Development & Data, to address the transformative power of technology in our society.

“We’re in a critical moment for technology and must ensure it’s used responsibly for the benefit of the people,” Williams stated, underscoring the urgency of equitable tech access.
