Drammeh Applauds Hon. Emily Pagan’s Election as 43rd Precinct Council President

Hon. Emily Pagan, Commissioner and Chief Operating Officer of the New York Peacebuilding Commission (NYPC), has been elected President of the 43rd Precinct Council, a move that has been met with enthusiastic praise from community leaders — including Bronx Post publisher Sheikh Musa Drammeh.

In a celebratory message shared shortly after the announcement, Drammeh commended Pagan’s unwavering commitment to community service and her continued rise as a respected leader in New York.

“BIG congratulations to NYPC Commissioner and COO Hon. Emily Pagan for being elected the new President of the 43rd Precinct Council along with her esteemed Executive Committee today,” Drammeh wrote.
“President Pagan will effortlessly continues her tireless leadership contributions at a higher level as president. She’s a great asset and a true pillar in her community and beyond.”

The 43rd Precinct Council serves as a crucial bridge between the NYPD and the local community, and Pagan’s election signals renewed momentum in collaborative safety and civic initiatives.
