Chaos at Sheepshead Bay Q train station, two shot, panicked commuters flee

A brazen shooting incident unfolded at the Sheepshead Bay Q train station in Brooklyn, leaving two young men injured and sending panicked commuters running for their lives.

The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Avenue U and East 15th Street. According to eyewitnesses, an 18-year-old man was grazed in the stomach, while a 21-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the leg.

Security cameras captured the chaotic scene, showing people frantically running down the steps from the Q train platform and out through an emergency gate on Avenue U. One of the individuals running appeared to be one of the shooting victims, who later sat down on the ground, where police provided medical attention.

Both victims were rushed to the hospital in stable condition. As police investigate the incident, one of the Q trains has been taken out of commission.

While it remains unclear whether the shooting occurred on the train itself or on the elevated platform, police sources at the scene indicate that the incident took place upstairs, near the elevated platform.

Authorities are currently searching for a man and a woman who fled the scene on the Q train. The investigation is ongoing, with police working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
