Council member Ung advocates for nurses health care coverage at CenterLight Healthcare PACE

Council Member Sandra Ung is voicing strong support for the nurses at CenterLight Healthcare PACE as they return to the negotiating table, fighting for the restoration of their health care benefits.

The New York State Nurses Association (NYSNA) nurses, who play a vital role in providing care at the healthcare facility, are advocating for the benefits they believe are rightfully theirs.

Ung took to social media to express her solidarity, stating, “The New York State Nurses Association nurses who work at CenterLight Healthcare PACE return to the negotiating table to fight for their OWN health care coverage!”

She added, “Center Light needs to do the right thing and restore these benefits to our healthcare heroes.”

The ongoing negotiations have sparked widespread attention, with many calling on CenterLight to prioritize the well-being of the nurses who are instrumental in the healthcare system, particularly during such challenging times.
